Norma Hernandez, Chair
Norma is the Executive Director of the school-based The Health Center in Walla Walla, a nonprofit that provides free medical and mental health care to the students of Walla Walla Schools. She is an active volunteer on numerous community boards and resides in College Place.
Rodney Outlaw, Executive Director
Rodney was born and raised in North Carolina. Relocating to Walla Walla in November 2015, he started as a para-educator for the school district. He founded Walla Walla Music Organization and currently volunteers on various boards.
Roger Garcia
Roger Garcia is in his 32nd year in music education. He is employed in the Walla Walla School District serving as
the District Music Coordinator and the Band Director at Garrison Middle School. He is an active adjudicator and clinician in the Southeastern Washington and Northeast Oregon region. He has performed as a clarinetist with the Virginia Wind Symphony, the Walla Walla Symphony, the Inland Northwest Symphony and the Mid Columbia Symphony. Mr. Garcia received his bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and his Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University Of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He lives in Waitsburg, WA with his wife Maria and has two adult children Maya & Will.
Mary Liberty-Traughber
Born on the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Mary is a lifetime Oregonian. Her professional background is in Human Resources, Communications, Foundation Administration and Business Administration. Mary has been a volunteer for various Chambers of Commerce, St. Charles Health System, Volunteers in Medicine, and the American Heart Association, to name a few. Currently employed at Wildhorse Resort & Casino, Mary works as the Public Relations Manager and administrator of the Wildhorse Foundation. She would like to be taller and tends to overuse memes.
Juli Reinholz
Juli lives in Walla Walla and is a recently retired ordained clergy person. She is inspired by and supports various non-profits in the region. Juli is excited to be a part of this diverse group dedicated to addressing systemic inequalities.
